BARA MINISTRIES:
A SACRED NAME MINISTRY
MISSION STATEMENT

The main objective and mission of BARA MINISTRIES is to provide a fertile environment where the full fruits of the Spirit may grow among all of its members.

Our mission and goals:
As a tree planted by the rivers (Psalm 1:3) bears sweet and nourishing fruit, so too our Assembly is a Spiritual organism seeking to bear the fullness of the fruit of the Spirit. We are a Spiritual family rooted and grounded in Yahshua Messiah (Col. 2:6-7). He is the vine and we are the branches (John 15:1-2). We are identified as New Covenant Israel, the Israel of Yah (Gal. 6:16), the Spiritual family of Yahshua, bearing the fruit of true genuine mature faith, love, unity, and harmony.

Through worship, teaching, Scripture reading, and by our example, we encourage those in our fellowship to grow into Yahshua Messiah in thought, word, and deed. We lead, guide, encourage, and lend a helping hand to those among us who stumble or grow weary.

As Believers, we worship YHVH God under the name Yahuah, as well as the Messiah, Yahshua, and hold to the continuing validity of the moral principles found in both the Old and New Testaments as our Spiritual roadmap and guide to life. In promoting the laws of Yah among our membership, our objective is never to condemn, disparage, or denigrate those among us who need strength, hope, encouragement, or direction, but to point out the way and guide them on to the path to life inYahshua Messiah.

As a multi-cultural assembly, we seek to overcome our differences, and work to promote understanding among all of our members. We believe that true unity can only be achieved in Messiah and in becoming the true children of Abraham together through faith. (Rom. 2:28-29, Gal. 3:7, 29) All of this we set ourselves to do in the Name of Yahshua the Messiah and by the Power of Yahuah and His Holy Spirit. Amen!

The Name Which Is Above All Names!

What Is His Name And What Is His Son’s Name?
The True Name Of God: Its Importance and Prophetic Significance In The Messiah

I. "But whom say ye that I am?”

(Matt. 16:15)

A.            What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell? (Pro. 30:4)
B.            The Messiah has manifested his father’s name unto those that are His. (John 17:6)
C.            His people shall know His name. (Is. 52:6)
D.            We are kept in The Messiah through the name of the Holy Father. (John 17:11)
E.             The Messiah came in the Holy Father’s name. (John 5:43)
F.             The Holy Father gave His Son a name above every name. (Phil. 2:9)
G.            We are called to love His Name. (Ps. 69:35-36)

II.        The significance of names in scripture.

A.            Names can signify the character of an individual. (Gen.17:5, 32:27-28, John 1:42)
B.            Names are used for identification and calling. (1Sam. 25:25, Acts 13:9)
C.            Names are also used as prophetic declaration. (Hosea 1:2-9)

III.       Attributes of the creator’s name.

A.            Great. (Josh. 7:9)
B.            Good. (Ps. 54:6)
C.            Everlasting. (Ps. 135:13)
D.            Excellent. (Ps. 148:14)
E.             Wonderful. (Is. 9:6)
F.             Holy. (Is. 57:15)
G.            Glorious. (Is. 63:14)

IV.       Titles & Names

The Creator has many titles, but only one name. In section A below we will take a look at some common English titles and compare them with the original Biblical Hebrew titles. In section B we will focus on Hebrew names, and in section C we will look at titles versus names.

A.                      Hebrew Titles                  Versus                 English Titles With Similar Meaning

1.             Adonai (God, Ruler)                                            Lord (including human overseers and false gods)
2.             Elohim (Creator, The Almighty)                         God (Creator, The Almighty)
3.             Messiah (The anointed one)                              Christ (The anointed one)
4.             Melek (4428 in Strong’s)                                     King
5.             Nabiy (5030 in Strong’s)                                     Prophet

B.                            Hebrew Names                 Versus                 English Substitution

1.             Yoseph                                                                  Joseph
2.             Ya’aqob                                                                 Jacob
3.             Yonah                                                                    Jonah
4.             Yo’el                                                                       Joel
5.             Yob                                                                         Job

Y versus J: In the Hebrew text, our letter “J” is actually pronounced as our letter “Y”. The letter “J” actually did not come into use until about the 16th century. All ancient languages made use of the “Y” sound, and everywhere we find the letter “J” in scripture we should actually pronounce the letter “Y”. Therefore we can conclude that neither “Jesus” nor “Jehovah” is correct historically or linguistically. (see the Oxford Encyclopedia, 2000 edition)

C.                            Titles                                   Versus                 Names

1.             King                                                                       David
2.             Prophet                                                                  Samuel
3.             Apostle                                                                  Paul

Note:      To call someone by their titles is not the same as to call them by their name! People customarily use a title when they don’t have a personal relationship with that individual. Do you have a personal relationship with your Messiah? Then speak to Him by His Name! We’re not saved by titles but only through the one and only “name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

V.        What is the name of our Holy Father which art in Heaven?

A.            His name is YAH. (Ps. 68:4)
B.            His name is YAHUAH. (Ex. 6:2-3)
C.            His name is substituted as LORD throughout the Bible. (Is. 42:8, Amos 5:8, Mal. 3:6)

VI.       What is the Savior's true name?

A.            He came in His Father's name, YAH or Yahuah, not Jesus. (Jn. 5:43)
B.            The Father & The Son are one. (Jn. 10:30)
C.            The Father speaks and does works through The Son. (Jn. 14:9-11)
D.            We are to be in The Messiah and He in us. (Jn. 14:20)
E.             The Father and The son are still one even today. (Jn. 16:27-28)
F.             It is the name that marks us. (Jn. 17:21-26)

Note:      If YAHUAH is the Father's name, then “Jesus” cannot be The Son's true name for it does not contain His Fathers name. Then what is The Messiah's name? Lets look to some of the other Hebrew names for clues.

VII.     Many of the prophets had The Father's name in them.

A.          English                                Hebrew
1.             Elijah                                      Eliyahu
2.             Jeremiah                                 Yirmeyahu
3.             Isaiah                                     Yeshayahu
4.             Obadiah                                 Obadyahu
5.             Zechariah                              Zekaryahu

B.            As you can see, many of the prophet’s names had the beginning 2 to 3 Hebrew letters of The Father's name in them. With that in mind it is only logical to conclude that the Messiah's name would contain some, if not all, of the letters of the Holy Father's name within it. There is, in fact, a well-known Hebrew name that has all four letters of The Father's name in it: Judah or Yahudah. The sequence of letters in the Holy Name is only changed by the single addition of the Hebrew letter "D" – the daleth, or door -- and it is through this tribe or this door that The Messiah came. The name, Judah or Yahudah, is therefore prophetic. But there is only 1 name that has all four letters of the Holy Father's name exactly in sequence, therefore making that 1 name and the 1 whom it belongs equal with The Holy Father! That is the name of YAHSHUA our Messiah.

VIII.    The name YAHSHUA is simply the Holy Father's name with the Hebrew shin added.

By definition the Hebrew letter shin means tooth or teeth, which represents the mouth. Therefore, prophetically, The Messiah is the mouthpiece, spokesman, or representative of the Holy Father. (Jn.1:14)

A.            The Messiah's name is often written in shortened forms, much like English names.

1.             Ronald                   1.             YAHUASHUA
2.             Ronnie                   2.             YAHSHUA
3.             Ron                        3.             YAH

B.         The Father's name is YAHUAH and The Son's name is YAHSHUA.

This is the only name in which man can be saved!!! (Acts 4:12)

IX.       The intimacy of The Name in our Heavenly relationship.

A.            We are to call Him husband, not names of Baal. (Hos. 2-16-17)
B.            We are to make no mention of other Gods! (Ex. 23:13)
C.            Have God's people forgotten His name? (Ps. 44:20)
D.            False prophets caused his people to err; His name for names of Baal. (Jer. 23:26-27)
E. God will return to His people a pure language so that they can call upon The Name of YAHUAH (Zeph. 3:9) as it was in the beginning (Gen. 4:26).
F.             We are not to speak in the name of other gods. (Deut. 18:20)
G.            We are called to destroy the names of false gods. (Deut.12:3)

X.        Conclusion:

YAH says his name is continually blasphemed everyday! (Is.52:5-6) Those who blaspheme the name of YAH are to be judged. (Lev. 24:10-16). You say you've come out of the world, but has the world come out of you? We now present you with a contrast. (Rev.14: 1-3; Rev. 17:3-5). You have been presented with the facts, but the decision is yours. PRAISE YAHUAH!!!
